Adidas have revealed the third kits for European giants AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus for the 2017/18 season – all created by fans. The four kits were created using the Adidas football Creator Studio competition, channelling and celebrating creativity from fans across the world. The competition allowed fans the chance to design the third kits for their favourite club for the 17/18 season. Once submitted, fans voted for the favourite which then led to a shortlist of a top 100. The winners for each club were then chosen by an panel that consisted of some of each clubs most iconic players.
For AC Milan, the 17/18 third kit brings a totally unique twist to a classic design. Model by Giacomo Bonaventura, the kit features the iconic red and black colours of the club in a new style. A bright red pattern across the chest against a black shirt is a new style for the Milan giants. It’s sharp, striking and brings a fresh, original approach to kit design.
A green number has been created for Juventus that combines past and future in a way perfectly suited to an iconic club. A military green has been used as the overall colour for the shirt with black and white stripes across the chest.
FC Bayern’s third kit features a white base with thin red stripes travelling vertically down the shirt, fading out as they reach the bottom. Manchester United’s winning design features an all grey base with a graphic of the ‘Holy Trinity’ statue which is based outside of Old Trafford, while Real Madrid’s shirt takes inspiration from modern digital design with a square graphic pattern.
