The excellent BT Sport #ChampionsDraw art series reached its finale this week with Sligo-based illustrator Dan Leydon taking the final honours and claiming sensational back-to-back victories. Following on from last season, BT Sport commissioned some top illustrators and designers to create artwork as part of their Champions League 2016/17 coverage which they have promoted in their TV advertisements, studio coverage and social media channels.
Dan Leydon retained his crown with this superb effort created for the forthcoming Champions League final between Real Madrid and Juventus, unveiled by none other than Gareth Bale himself:

The #ChampionsDraw featured some top class illustrators and designers including Hannah Carrol, Dave Flanagan, Scott McRoy, Dave Merrell, Kieran Carroll, Kevin McGivern and Phil Galloway to name just a few. You can view more of the design entries for this seasons competition which we featured here last February.
The series has really dished up some wonderfully creative pieces over of the course of the season and offered a great opportunity for the many talented designers out there to showcase their work to a big audience. We hope to see it get even bigger and better next season with more great work produced. The big question is: can that man Dan create history and go for three in-a-row?
