Recently a ceremony took place to honour the memory of one of AS Roma’s most cherished heroes, Agostino di Bartolomei. He was honoured at the Trofeo Città di Rocca di Papa at the Lionello Gavini sports centre, a football tournament held annually for local youths in Rome.
Artist Barry Masterson (see more here) was asked to create this lovely illustration of Ago for the occasion, which was unveiled just beside the stadium, with Ago’s son, Luca di Bartolomei, present.
