Every year, In Bed With Maradona selects 100 players, aged 22 and under, that they consider the most exciting players in the world. Lists like this are always controversial, but thats the point of them really, and the folks at IBWM monitor hundreds of players across the globe and talk to coaches, scouts, managers, journalists and fans to gauge their take on to select and why.
These are the fantastic illustrations which accompanied the 2013 version, all created by the talented illustrator Michael Atkinson, who hails from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Alessandro Florenzi, Lorenzo Insigne, Mattia Destro and Stephan El Shaarawy all feature to name but a few.
