NEW JUVENTUS 2020/21 kits UNVEILED
The Juventus home kit for the 2020/21 season sees a classic aesthetic given a modern refresh, inspired by the world of modern art. Reverting back to the iconic black and white stripes, the shirt is set to be worn from 1 August onwards, which means it will be on show when the Old Lady resume their Champions League campaign.
Synonymous with the club’s core identity, the kit sees the reappearance of the iconic black and white panelling, following the celebrated split design of recent seasons. When deciding the approach for the 2020/2021 tournaments and leagues, adidas wanted to provide a fresh take on the stripes that have long represented unity between fan and player, past and present.
Taking inspiration from the unity of art and football – and their shared celebration of creativity and identity – the resulting jersey reimagines the classic stripes with a unique brushstroke approach on its front and sleeves. The result is a shirt that keeps with the traditions woven into the club’s DNA, while signalling a fresh era for Italy’s most successful team.
Adding elegance to the iconic black and white, the colour gold is prevalent throughout the kit, including within the brushstrokes, club crest and sponsor detailing. The club’s crest itself has evolved this season, it is an iconic symbol that has been given an innovative twist, still in-keeping with the club’s traditional DNA.
The new home jersey will be worn for the first time on pitch from Saturday 1st August, the final Serie A match of the season, and will be available to purchase at at prodirectsoccer.com
Below you can see the Juventus 20-21 away kit. Based on the Condivo 20 template by Adidas, it follows the same theme as the home kit, a union between art and football which see the stripes painted on the shirt and sleeves. The colour scheme is dark blue with silver applications and crests.
The new Juventus 2020-21 3rd shirt features a striking orange and black colour with a dark pattern black design throughout. “Orange is a new colour in the history of Juventus. The world of art was once again chosen as an inspiration, all of these elements combine to produce the third kit for the 2020-21 season, characterised by a bold orange color, which, through an expression of vitality aims to reflect the spirit of the team on the pitch.”
