Following hot on the heels of Mark Johnson’s excellent Career in Shirts series, English designer Johnson returns with a rather lovely Shirts & Numbers project. Each kit encapsulates the history of the particular club through their most iconic shirts and players who made them famous. Naturally enough the number 10 features prominently with the likes of Totti, Messi and Bergkamp while Cruyff’s 14 and Cristiano Ronaldo’s 7 are instantly recognisable.
