Pickles Magazine is an excellent football magazine based in the UK which combines football, culture, design, illustration and wit. We previously covered the magazine back in September 2013 focusing on some of its great artwork and illustrations. Since then it has undergone a slight redesign with a slick new masthead.
Issue 10 of Pickles is a special edition dedicated to the famous number 10 shirt, those special playmakers – trequartista, fantasista, regista (and some great illustrations by Matthew Brazier) – and comes with four covers in honour of the number 10 shirts of Diego Maradona.
It also has a memorable piece on the great Agostino Di Bartolomei, AS Roma’s legendary capitano – ‘The Fallen Captain’ – with words by Greg Lea and some great artwork by Brendan Higgins.
