Here are some amazing graphics done featuring Shakhtar Donetsk players, created by the SpecialOne design agency from St. Petersburg, Russia (Russian design, Ukrainian club, hmmm).
They were created for use on the outside of Shakhtar’s home stadium, the magnificent Donbass Arena, and feature the orange of the Shakhtar shirt flaming with fire and the black burned to a crisp. Really top-notch Photoshop work to get the effect just right and implement into the player images. I can’t imagine how long it must have took, but excellent work which was well worth it.
