Erreà Sport’s tribute to the birthplace of football
With the return of the Premier League just around the corner, Italian manufacturers Erreà Sport today released a new kit collection dubbed The English Teams. Created by Errea’s in-house design and development department, the collection finds its inspiration deep in the roots of the history of the game, when in the late nineteenth century the pioneers of the world’s favourite sport would take to the field wearing shirts made by the textile industries from the heart of England.
That classic retro look and appearance is captured here today by Errea and presented for a number of historic English clubs including Norwich, QPR, Port Vale, Lincoln City and Walsall. The kits themselves feature side vents, button-down collar, mitred cuff and black sleeve placket and are perfectly suited to the innovative, high-performance B-Hive fabric, characterised by a special honeycomb weave and a yarn that provides remarkable breathability and extreme lightness.
