The Green Soccer Journal is a biannual football magazine that blends football, design, fashion and photography all in the name of the beautiful game. For the upcoming European Championships in France, they have produced a lovely looking Euro 2016 Edition, illustrated with the work of Osvaldo Casanova.
Dedicated to some of the most iconic moments in the fifty-six year history of the European Championship, the print run will be limited to only 500 copies making it a collectors edition, whilst their website will be updated throughout the tournament with fresh content from the magazine.
“After the events of the past year and a half, the 2016 European Championship in France is set to be the most poignant and emotionally charged major tournament in a generation,” says editor Josh Wilson. “With the help of illustrator Osvaldo Casanova, we have selected and captured one enduring image from each of the fourteen tournaments that stands out for its brilliance, its importance, its audacity, or a combination of all three.”
