Italian giants AC Milan have finally unveiled their new 2018-19 home kits by new manufacturer Puma. Puma take over from 20 years of Adidas being responsible for one of the most iconic kits in world football, so they have a lot to live up to.
Inspired by the classic AC Milan jerseys of the 1990s, the Puma Milan 2018-19 home jersey features black and red stripes on the front, with a red stripe running down along the top. A vintage-inspired button-up collar, as seen on the Club’s kits from the early part of the 20th Century adds to this classic and clean feel, whilst the legendary Diavolo Rossonero (The Red & Black Devil) appears on the back of the neck, a nod to the famous quote by club founder Herbert Kilpin.
To accompany the home kit, Puma Football created a social campaign under the title “A New Milan“. It is inspired by the youthful exuberance and creativeness of the city, and the passion of the fans that is reflected in a new era of youth and energy within the Club, fuelling a burning desire to succeed.
