Francesco Totti now has his own limited edition football boots. The ‘Nike Tiempo Legend V Premium Francesco Totti 2015 Football Boots’, to give them their full title, are made with Totti in mind to honour his legend.
Totti has worn his Nike Tiempo Legend V boots with a special fold over tongue the past few years, and with AS Roma turning to Nike for its kit manufacturer its win win all round. With a specialised sock-liner logo made to mimic a Roman soldier helmet and an aesthetic metallic finish to mimic armour, the boots have a very Roman feel.
As Totti says:
“I have always played with boots that had a tongue and for me, this detail on the product is very important. It’s a classic boot that helps me perform at my best when I’m on the pitch. This specific version of the Tiempo has a beautiful color since it’s a perfect mix between classic elements like the black upper and more innovative ones like the chrome details on the Swoosh and the tongue. The tongue itself makes this boot really unique and is a key element for me in a football boot.”

There will be only 3,000 pairs of the boots made available for sale as a limited edition, so be sure to keep an eye on Nike.com and at select retailers from March 5. It won’t make you play like him, but it will make you look like him, at least a little.
